The Nyetimber Blanc de Blancs 2007 is described as “A lovely pale straw-yellow colour. The essence of purity, with a rich nose of bergamots, Philadelphus and Granny Smith apples followed by racy citrus fruits and focused minerality on the palate.”
Not being terribly au fait with plants I had to look up Philadelphus and discovered it is one of my most favourite of plants when in flower! Vanilla and lemon to the fore.
